Rooibos is a native herb of South Africa and is packed with health promoting polyphenols, minerals and antioxidants. Enjoy our organic, loose leaf Rooibos Tea with its nutty, malty and sweet flavour - a brilliant black tea alternative, naturally caffeine free. Also known as Red Bush Tea.
The polyphenolic compounds found in rooibos contain anti-inflammatory properties and the consumption of rooibos tea has been associated with a reduction in pro-inflammatory markers. Rooibos Tea is widely used:
- To support heart health
- To aid digestion
- To promote relaxation
- To calm inflammation
Serve: 1 tspn per cup (250ml). Brew with boiling water 3-5 minutes for a bright coppery red infusion. As there is no tannin in rooibos, you can brew for at long as you like without fear of it turning bitter. Enjoy without milk, with a slice of lemon. Sugar or honey to sweeten.
Tip: Serve iced with sliced lemon for a delicious and refreshing beverage. Remember to use double the quantity when making iced tea
Caffeine free and low in tannins, this rich red herbal infusion makes a comforting tea for any time of day. Great hot or iced.
